"Last week I took my RhoadesCar up the side of Fossil Mountain to about 8,000 feet, the altitude to which the snow was melted so far this Spring. Being able to move merely 2 feet per pedal rotation really makes this climbing much easier, even though I am moving a total load of over 400 lbs. This is my third season for driving my RhoadesCar up in the Wind River Mountains. I am having a great time!"

"Dear Friends: Since picking up our bike at your factory my son and I have ridden it many miles on many trips, some of them more than twenty miles. We have driven on all terrains including pavement, grass, sand (alongside the Arkansas river) & good old country back roads. It has never failed to give us an adventure. "I Love My Bike" by T. Howard "I have had my Rhoades Car 4W1P for a year now, and I still love it as much as I did the first day I took it out of the crate. I have put over 3000 miles on it and have only had one flat tire to chalk up in the malfunction category. Other than routine maintanence, I have had to do nothing to it. (I found the Bicycling Magazine book on do it your self bike maintanence to be invaluable...you may want to consider recommending it to your customers) I have participated in three parades, made the front cover of my local paper, and ridden my bike as a "pace car" carrying a radio and bottled water in a 10K run. I have even gotten two dates out of riding it. lol I bought a spare tire for my bike, but failed to order bearings for it. I have the chrome spoke wheel, 105g spokes, 20 inch. I wish to order a set of the heavy duty bearings for it. If you will email me a cost, I will send you a check along with a written request for the order. Your product has changed my life. I have lost 40 pounds, my blood pressure is normal for the first time in 10 years. I am legally blind, so the car IS my transportation around town. I would not trade it for anything, and am seriously contemplating ordering a second one (probably a 4W2PLF or 4W4P) as my current girlfriend loves to ride it and wishes we could ride together. "I have a single speed (4W1P) with 39 sprocket. I bought it to ride to
work when I would rather have the security of 4 wheels, when the weather is bad.
I've ridden it to work twice. I was afraid that the 2 hills would be difficult
with the 39T front sprocket, but once warmed up, I rode up smoothly. I really
zip down the hills and I feel that I can do without a motor car altogether." |
